Hi all Took delivery of my N2100 Tuesday and last night finally got to 'play' having updated firmware and installed disks etc.
Can anyone advise on how to map a drive from the Host Name rather than device IP Address? I can see the Host in my list of file servers, but clicking does not expand to show folders. I can successfully map using IP address so authentication is fine.
Thanks

Default thecus hostname is Thecus_N2100 Just replace its ip adress by this.

Thanks Spiken
I changed my device name to NAS3 (1 and 2 being Linksys USB units) and can see this in my map drive box, (in the correct workgroup), but I dont get to open any file shares.
I might try reverting the unit back to the default and see what happens

Ok, looks like I've solved this more by luck than judgement. 1) Open map drive dialogue box 2) Right click on Servername > Expand 3) Explorer window opens with login dialogue prompt > enter user/pw 4) Explorer opens showing all folders 5) Close Explorer, map drive again, this time Servername can be expanded directly and drive mapped
