i'm a windows guy. so unix user please help me. lol
i have installed mldonkey with bt support. i would like to use this module and have it constantly seed my torrents.
since my isp is comcast. they just implemented their sandvine attack in my area (sandvine resets the connection between peers) so the only way to get around this is to either set up a VPN or tunnel traffic through SSH. both of which i don't know how to do on my n2100. if even possible to tunnel the traffic with mldonkey...
another thing is how would i take a guardianp2p.zip file and have mldonkey read it. do i route the blank box to the file or is there someway of clicking on it.
any help would be appreciated as i am totally new to unix.

For bt rtorrent is far superiour than mldonkey. In your case even the preferred choice since it handles encrypted transfers. You just need to tweak the config file for rtorrent (install the SSH module to access the rtorrent config).

"This is a UNIX (Linux/BSB/etc) firewall rule. This blocks the reset packets Comcast is producing. It’s been years since I’ve used ipfw but I think this will work: ipfw add drop tcp src-port (bittorrent_port) tcpflags rst" found on torrentfreak.com/comcast-throttles-bittorrent-traffic-seeding-impossible/__________________________________________________ “iptables -A INPUT -p tcp –dport $TORRENT_CLIENT_PORT –tcp-flags RST RST -j DROP is the solution, and soon torrent clients / peerguardian and alike hopefully implements it for windows aswell =)” Is there any way to get this to work on a windows network through ICS with a server instead of a router??" found on torrentfreak.com/comcast-throttles-bittorrent-traffic-seeding-impossible/___________________________________________________ is there any way to implement this into my n2100? if so, which one and how would i use this? god i wish i wasn't unix retarded. thanks for any help.
