I am going to buy N2100 and put inside 2 large disks (750-1000MB). I know, that there may be a problem with power supply (which provides 60W and it may be to low...). May I simply replace the PS with another one (i.e. 80W)?
Have you tried it? Will everything work fine? And if so, what power adapter are you using instead of the standard one?

It is strange... According to Hitachi data sheet, this disk needs "2.0 A (+12V), 1.2 A (+5V)", so actually it needs 2*12+1.2*5=30W. If we have 2 such disks, they need 60W. So...? It seems standard 60W PS is not enough (because the box itself also needs some power...). Or maybe I am wrong? Anyone using such disks here? Do you have problems or not?

The power figures you quoted relate to the startup requirements for those drives. In operating mode they will consume about half of that. If you add 10-15 Watt for the n2100 itself you end up with 75 Watt during startup and 45 Watt operating. To reduce the startup power the n2100 will delay the spinup of the 2nd drive by a few seconds. With some luck the system should therefore be below 60 Watt at all times.

The power figures you quoted relate to the startup requirements for those drives. Yes, I know - I counted only the startup power. If I want to use n2100, it must have enough power for startup. :-) In operating mode they will consume about half of that. If you add 10-15 Watt for the n2100 itself you end up with 75 Watt during startup and 45 Watt operating. To reduce the startup power the n2100 will delay the spinup of the 2nd drive by a few seconds. I did not know about this feature. Is it default behavior? Or will I need to change something in configs? And what will happen if n2100 restores disks from power save mode? Will be 2nd disk delayed too?
