Serial Port parameters?

I've set up the serial port hardware as per this post:
david.thg.se/n2100/addserial.html

But I can't get any action on the serial port. Does anybody know what baud rate/parity/stop bits the Thecus 2100 uses on the serial port, and/or any other secrets needed to make it work?
