I have added a SANE module to the wiki. It installs the SANE backends 1.0.18 on the N2100 so that you can connect a scanner to it and use it as a scanner server. (Or as in my case use also the scanner part of a multifunction printer connected to the N2100.)

I have only tested the module with an Epson RX700. (Which I can't find listed on the "SANE: Supported Devices" page, but it works.)
Try it out if you dare. I am a novice on this so be warned.. no guarantees.
