noise reduction through fan replacement?

hi there,

I'm new with N2100. it was still building its first RAID1 when I realized the fan is too much noisy.

is the fast fan replacement solution described on the wiki onbeat.dk/thecus/index.php/N2100_Hardware_modifications enough for noise reduction or do you think a greater mod - such as the ones described in these threads - is required?

I'm not too smart with mods, replacing a fan is just ok for me...

I had a quick look at the specifications. While this fan is quieter than the original one it will only be able to cool one drive. If you plan on putting two harddrives in your case I recommend to go for an external 60 or 80mm fan.
