Dear getmythe
Thanks so much for your effort. The Firefly module is excellent and it is now running great in my Thecus box!

got this working earlier on my new N2100. its a little bit wierd in getting configured, i.e. inbuilt playlists are somewhat easy and different, flac audio takes a little while to recognise,
something else, mt-daapd did something where it "played" but didn't stream, setting the DHCP server's to give the N2100 the default IP of 192.168.1.100, fixed it.
something i looked up because i thought it was broken, where the bonjour (zeroconf, mDNS) service reads as stopped, is normal. i think it should be recognised as being done by avahi, but not really looking into the code stages or finding out how to upgrade to nightly releases yet.
the firefly forum post basically said 'if itunes works, dont worry 'bout bonjour'
really works great out-of-box.
now, to figure out twonkymedia for video & xbmc.

Hi Getmythe, I've been running this now for a month or so, and it seems good. Occasionally the streaming drops, which may be memory related or possibly be coinciding with the scan regime I've got (I'm running an un-upgraded 128Mb 2100... perhaps it's swapping from time to time). One thing I'd be really interested in would be a port of the python last.fm proxy server to run alongside firefly on the 2100. What do you think? vidar.gimp.org/?page_id=50Regards, Mike

should be doable if someone manages to create a python module first.

Hi, is anyone running both the twonkyvision mod alongside firefly? I want firefly for my music (stream to Roku) and twonky to stream to my DP-600. Ican't get them both working at the same time - if I use the Dp-600 first, it renders the Roku in-operable and vice-versa.
Any clues?
