Hi everyone

Just wondering if anyone knows if your hard drives will power down when using the slimserver module.

I know that if you use the built in itunes server hard drives will not power down.

I hope that the same thing doesn't happen with the slim server module.

The built-in iTunes server rescan will interrupt the hard disk spin down. Set the rescan interval to a longer time period.

Thanks for the reply. I guess i didnt word my question correctly

What i really want to know is.

With itunes turned off completely will the hard disks shut down if you have the SlimServer module installed.

Assuming that there are no squeezebox's connected and playing music.
