Hi there,
I'm trying to fit what's inside my N2100 into a Cubit3 enclosure (it's for mini-ITX motherboards, but it'll be fine, just a little modding). More space, 8 cm fan, 5 mm thick aluminium enclosure, sooooo stylish... I got 2 Maxtor running really too hot, so I gotta think of a better cooling.
To do this, I need to "lay down" the daughterboard that connects to the drives, and make it face the motherboard. This will really improve airflow, as both drives will be inside separate aluminium 5'1/4 passive coolers with the fan directly blowing on them. I'll add 2 cables (SATA 22 pin) for data+power, but I nedd a riser card for the daughterboard.
My guess is that the slot is regular PCI-Express 8X, as it has 98 pins, but I'd rather ask to be sure. Can anyone confirm ?
Thanks.

I think it is PCI-Express x8.
