Being a Linux newbie, I was trying to compile the ushare UPnP AV server. I downloaded the debian_arm_minimal_chroot from Mikkel's website, but I could not get libupnp compiled. Don't know if any did it successfully. The last few lines are (cd .libs && rm -f libupnp.la && ln -s ../libupnp.la libupnp.la) make[3]: Leaving directory `/download/libupnp-1.3.1/upnp' make[2]: Leaving directory `/download/libupnp-1.3.1/upnp' make[2]: Entering directory `/download/libupnp-1.3.1' make[2]: Leaving directory `/download/libupnp-1.3.1' make[1]: Leaving directory `/download/libupnp-1.3.1' any suggestions?

It seems that the compilation finished correctly (there is no error message). Now you should type as root: # make install
This will install libupnp in the /usr/local directory of the chrooted shell.

I dont know much about UPnP, but could the TWONKYMEDIA module be of any interest? If so, you can download it off onbeat.dk/N2100 Another option is the UPnP server from GeeXboX as decribed by onbeat.dk/N2100/?Tweaks:UPnP%2FGeeXboX Best, Mshapf
