I've just tried downloading the new version and all I get is a corrupt file, only takes 1 sec to download....
Cheers

I did see the same problem yesterday when trying to download mshapf's minimal debian arm installation. His webserver seems to have memory allocation problems (a php virus maybe?). The downloaded file contains the following error message:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 20971520 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 26464553 bytes) in /hsphere/local/home/ventia/onbeat.dk/N2100/cmsimple/cms.php on line 154

My SP has just confirmed they have had problems yesterday on their webservers. They say it should be ok now.
Their fix to the problem, however, appears to have resulted in the CMS download function not working anymore, so I had to change the download links... Anyways, it should be working now. Let me know how the new modules works....
Cheers, M.

Mikkel - looking at the wishlist on your site - why don't you add a vote thread here somewhere ....
I am keen on the mailserver and would also like some SAMBA management so I could set it as a fake NT domain for my home LAN so it could synch the password on multiple machines

The thing is that I'm quite busy at the moment, as I need to hand in my masters in 3½ weeks. Afterwards I will probably have more time to play with the N2100.
The wishlist was just to get a general idea of what modules are wanted. Feel free to make a vote thread, but keep in mind that there is no guarentee that I will make whatever module comes in first...
About the samba issue, I don't see how it's possible to make a seperate installation, since the N2100 already contains a samba server. If I was you, I would try to tweak the current installation instead. I dont know how much you know about samba, but a good place to start is /etc/samba/smb.conf. Remeber to do backups so you can roll back when needed... :-) When you get it to work, it would be great if you could write a howto. Then maybe I can turn it into a module.
Best, Mikkel

Btw, what's the status on the new SlimServer module? Any problems with WMA, bitrates etc?

Mikkel - thanks for all your work on modules etc - but don't let it get in the way of your Masters!
And yes I recognise Samba is already there - I was thinking more of an admin page to manage the options - the current admin pages that touch the Samba config are pretty restrictive - but I am now ploughing through SAMBA docs to see what the best config would be and will do a How To when I get it working
The copy of Samba they have on the THecus does seem pretty up to date though - which is good

Hello,
I am new in this stuff. I got an n2100 and buyed a pinnacle soundbridge. I installed the slimserver and configured all. But wenn I try to connect with my Soundbridge to the Slimserver than it says that the soundbridge needs an softwareupdate. It says that in the display of the Soundbridge. And when I do this update than it says that it was updated correctly. And when I start again it wants the update again and so on.
What can I do?
Greets to all!

Hi, Mshapf,
Is the SlimServer module UTF-8 compatible? or is the SlimServer from Slim Devices UTF-8 compatible?
