Hi there, we are trying to find the best NAS / Model for our requirements. the main needs are.
*iScsi capability to multiple servers *the data to be replicated across to another device over the WAN. however we want both devices to be Read / Write
we were looking at the N8800 Pro. any suggestions.

G'day, I can't really help with a recommendation for a NAS but if I were you, I would avoid anything Thecus. It's not that their hardware is not good, it's excellent, but their support strategies leaves alot to be desired. Sorry if this is not the answer you were after but my next NAS will definitely not be a Thecus. Having lived thru their idea of what support constitutes, I'd rather just avoid the hassle and drama. Thecus made an absolute mess of the firmware/feature release for the 5200 NAS line...basically it was a joke I am not confident that anything has changed and will not take the risk of purchasing another of their NAS. There are plenty of other companies out there with decent NASes that compare with the features/performance of the 8800 so it's not like you don't have choices Cheers
