I advise all who have 5500's to take a look at my post today in that section under Firmware. If your current model Thecus does not have a Firmware upgrade available indicating (in the release notes), "Improved the performance for large block and also small packet transfer." I suggest you write to Thecus and ask for that same performance improvement for your model Thecus.
