Hi all, Got a N5200 running 5x 500Gb Western Digital for over 17'000 hours now, and only had to change HDD in tray 1 a couple of months ago because it failed. Sofar, just ok . But then... Since a few days, I noticed unexpected informations in logs: [glow=red,2,300] 2010/05/22 16:23:29 N5200 : Disk 4 on N5200 has been removed. 2010/05/22 16:23:33 N5200 : Disk 4 on N5200 has been added. 2010/05/23 01:39:15 N5200 : Healthy: The system N5200 is healthy now. 2010/05/31 10:27:16 N5200 : Disk 4 on N5200 has been removed. 2010/05/31 10:27:23 N5200 : Disk 4 on N5200 has been added. 2010/05/31 19:18:23 N5200 : Healthy: The system N5200 is healthy now. [/glow] etc, while there was obviously no disk withdrawal. I had the involved HDD extracted and cleaned the connector pins, reinserted it etc. but still the same, once a week or so... Anyone of you faced similar problem ?

Hi again, Further to previous post on the subject, I decided to replace the involved HDD by brain new one. Unplugged the disk 4 and replaced (hot) by new one. According to N5200, disk is healthy and ready, but RAID system doesn't rebuild, showing gray (unavailable) unchecked 'Used' checkbox in the STORAGE -> RAID -> RAID Config interface. Since the raid level is 6, I am very concerned about loosing ALL DATA on the system if a new HDD eror occures.... Can please anyone advise me on how to include the newly inserted HDD in the RAID area / rebuild the RAID manually (N5200 doesn't seem to want rebuilt it automatically!) Help appreciated !!! Thanks !
