Could anybody help me converting the ssh-dropbear to the M3800.
I have changed the install.rdf and the Nas accepts the module, but after the install i get the module name like this:
in the rdf: SSH-Dropbear
in the module overview: [thecus]H-dropbear
means [thecus] is placed in front of the module name and the first two characters are dropped
I used 7zip to create the module. First used tar uncompressed and then gzip.

Hmm. Strange that these first two characters are dropped. But after enabling the module, and clicking the link to the webpage, are you able to reset the root password and get ssh access? NB: I assume you used the SSH-DROPBEAR-0.52.1 module? I also modified the install.rdf and created a new module which might work for the M3800. If you want to give it a try: download the file M3800-SSH-DROPBEAR-0.52.1.zip from the following location: www.badongo.com/file/13260813Just let me know if it works... Succes!

I got it. Thanks arie for your mod. It works but it still has the [thecus] in the module name.
I figured out that the reason why it didn't work for me was the 7zip program.
After i used tar and gzip from ubuntu it worked.

The reason it has [Thecus] in it's name is that I put in the install.rdf
<md:UI>Thecus</md:UI>
This makes that the location of the module-webpage is different, resulting in the "standard thecus" look.
If I would have used
<md:UI>User</md:UI>
You would not have seen the [Thecus] in it's name, but then the layout of the module-webpage does noet have the "standard thecus" look.
But I am glad it works. That was the main goal ;-)

I just heard from someone else with a similar problem: the first two characters of the module do not appear. Make sure that when creating the modfile you do it as described at the thecus wiki: www.onbeat.dk/thecus/index.php/N2100_Module_DevelopmentUse tar -cvzf TESTMOD.mod ./TESTMOD Please pay close attention to the "./" in front of the module directory. This is extremely important as the module will not otherwise install correctly. Not correctly means: first two chars are missing, and uninstall becomes difficult...
