I've been a long time user of my N2100 and basically love it. Thanks Thecus!
Recently, I defected to mac from the PC with a shiny new MacBook Pro (highly recommended by the way).
In Mac's "Finder", it sees the N2100 under the shared items. When I click on it, I have to "connect as..." every single time. My login info isn't remembered.
As another method, I've tried to "connect to server" in Finder, and can browse to the n2100. It asks me to select the volumes to mount, which I do, but then I get an error that says the Volume failed to mount. It never asks for login info.
What am I doing wrong? I have a temp work around, which is just login every time, but it's getting old and I'd like to set up Time Machine to backup regularly to the n2100 which I can't do if I can't connect it as a server.
Any ideas? I'm sure it's me somehow!
