Hi. I'm using my n2100 as the music server to a Roku Soundbridge. I'm having an issue with supported file types. I've converted some AAC files to MP3 (due to protection issues from Apple) and it appears the built-in iTunes server does not support them. When I try to play them, I get a unsupported file error on the Soundbridge. I've narrowed the problem down to the n2100 server since I can play the songs through other music servers on a PC. Does anyone have any insight on this? From what I've read the n2100 can support the MP3 format. The songs failing are MP3 @ 50kbps bit rate (though I've tried other rates as well). Thanks in advance.

Try installing the firefly module from user getmythe. It is an open source alternative to the itunes server that is built into the n2100. Read the documentation first, but i am definitely sure it is compatible with the soundbridge and has a lot more features that the in-built server.

I have a Soundbridge and use the Fireply Module. This works perfectly.
