Hi,
i hope you can help me...
I try to connect my Dvico (M-6500A) via NFS to the Thecus N2100. The NFS Module is installed and i post my configuration so far:
I creat a account tvixuser with pass tvixuser. Sub ACL the User "tvixuser" has read/write access!
IP Thecus (Fixed): 192.168.211.189 IP Dvico (DHCP): 192.168.211.10 Directory NAS: NAS
At the setup of the nfs-modul: /NAS 192.168.211.10/32 tvixuser
The configuration of the dvico as follow: IP: 192.168.211.189 Path: /Raid/Nas
I can not see the file structure of the NAS. What ist the failure in this configuration ?
Thanks for your help !
Bye Schrammel

Hi,
where did you create the user? In the web gui or via the add user command?

When ever I created a NFS share, I created an account using the add user command via ssh.
Something else to watch out for is the directory path for the NFS module. I belive that you do not add the /raid as it is implicit anyway.
I have tested the NFS between two N2100's, but I have never used your device.
Do you read or full read/writeaccess?

Have a look at the Thecus 3rd party Wiki onbeat.dk/thecus/index.php/Main_PageThis will give you information about most of the modules for the N2100. It will also give you information about NFS on the N2100. I suggest that you also look though the N2100 section of this board for SSH. SSH is a secure way of connecting to devices. There is a SSH Daemon for the N2100. This, when installed and configured, will allow you, with an appropriate SSH client on your machine, to connect. For a Windows SSH client, do a google search for Putty.
