Webcamera picture remotely failed

Hi,

I use Labtec Webcam Pro. The camera works on the LAN but when I want to use it via remotely (through Internet) then I receive an error message (Jwebcam applet Connection failed) There is this problem with both browsers (IE7 and Firefox 2.0/3.0)

Has anybody some idea?

Don't forget to redirect the thecus GUI java applet port from your router to your nas if you use it outside your lan.

Thank you for your response. I reach the all services of nas via internet exclude webcam picture. The nas looks the camera but there is the Jwebcam applet failure. Could you give me an example if how can I redirect GUI applet port from router to nas. What the GUI port number? I use only port forwarding for the nas (WAN IP address:port number to LAN IP address:port number) I did it for ftp too.
