I would like to know if the user has ssh acces to the firmware of a thecus n1200 and if it is able to modify the firewall rulles. I realy need to modify the ttl of the internet packages because my ISP give me net with ttl=1 so i cannot share with any other computer in the hous the bandwith. If i decide to buy a thecus n1200 and i installe it, the only device in the house connected to the internet will be the NAS. My computer won't work anymore if i canot modify the ttl because the forewall of the NAS dorps the packages if ttl=1
Help please.

It may be possible to customise these settings on the Thecus n1200 default environment and its definitely possible in the Gentoo chroot environment I am working on. (sorry I didn't reply earlier, my Thecus n1200 has a dead hdd which is being replaced)
Just recently I recompiled the additional netfilter modules for the n1200 environment. I haven't made a package yet but will do so, and if your still interested given you bricked at least one n1200, you can inquire about it.
