Does N4100 v1.3.06 firmware have module support like v1.3.05.3 does?
Eg. does it have System -> Module management section?
If so, why is it not listed in the change notes for the firmware?
Also, does anyone know wtf a .app file is? I can easily download 2100/4100+ modules and edit their xml file to allow install on a straight N4100... but only if they use the .mod file so i can un-tar it and edit the xml inside then re-tar it. However alot of the mods use a .app file i cannot untar... what the oath are these files?? How do you unpack them?

Yes ! But there is not module currently available online (I didn't find any so far). I modified the SSH 4.1 module to make it available to N4100 firmware v1.3.06. It's the first step...

Hi,
Pleased to see someone finally interested in modules on N4100 !
In firmware 1.3.06 (N4100, not N4100+ !) menu, select /System. Then select /System/Module Mgmt
You have the Module Management form.
Regard

Hey Edgar,
I would love to see a module for PS3 Media Server or Tversity.
Both are transcoding DLNA servers. I think the N4100pro can handle this (with 1GB of RAM).
I know nothing about programming. i got the N4100 mainly as a home media server. Mediabolic was a joke. I curentluy have Twonky module installed but its so so. I realy feel there is a need in the PS3 community for a transcoding module for the thecus NAS.
