Hello friends. I just got my N5200 PRO, and wanted mainly to use the iSCSI functionality . I would like to make it work with Qlogic HBA model QLA4050C. I have used this card to connect to Netapp SAN, Openfiler, and FreeNAS. And it worked. When I trying to connect this iSCSI card to N5200PRO it wont work. I am using the windows version of SANsurfer iSCSI HBA Manager to configure the target setting. The target are detected ok, and all my iSCSI volumes, shows ok in the target settings, but when I try to connect, I get a error msg saying “Session failed” in the state field. In the diagnostic log it says Original state = Logging in Entry Type = Close cause Error Type = Login PDU format error (0x6) Detail code = Unexpected ISID value (0x9) I am using default settings on the HBA card, and I have of cause tried it with a more common Microsoft iSCSI Initiator. Anyone who has a clue how I can solve this? Thanks!!!

Hi,
I know that the question is from 2008. But I ran with a QLE4062 into the same problem in 2010. The solution of my problem was to deactivate "iSCSI CRC/Checksum" in settings of N5200Pro. Now it works perfectly.
