I have two machines a macbook and a vista pc, both of which have a habbit of leaving a trail of hidden files. The problem is that when browsing the samba shares all these files are visible.
If you add this line into /raid/sys/smb.conf for each share you want it to apply:
hide files = /Folder.jpg/AlbumArt*.jpg/*.ini/*.tmp/Thumbs.db/Network Trash Folder/Temporary Items/$RECYCLE.BIN/.Apple*/lost+found/My Sharing Folders.ink/
Then restart the N2100 and the files should now be hidden.
Does anyone know if its possible to do the same for AFP?
edit: It might be a good idea to create a meta script to do this
