Greetings all,
Can anyone tell me what is likely to happen If I replace a dead Seagate 400GB SATA 7200.8 in a 4100 NAS configured as RAID 5 with a Seagate 400GB SATA 7200.10?
Will it work? Help required!
regards

Yes - why not? 400 Gb old to another 400GB ... no problem. I also did this. The speed size is nearly the same... so no problem.

Thanks for the advice. I added a 400GB 7200.11 disk into the RAID as a spare and it is recognised and seems to be working.
