Hi
Just found this forum and the modules available. I have a 2100 with 2 hard drives with raid mirror and just wanted to say thanks to the people making the modules.
I've been finding it frustrating that my 64bit linux box doesn't have flash so had to access my box from my mac. Thanks to the noflash mod this was worked a treat and I like that it removes the thecus banner, I thought it was a bit of a cheek that they had that on it.
I use my 2100 as a central storage in my home network to provide some security of my data with it being mirrored. If a mounted as cifs from Linux I seemed to have problems accessing the data on the box, now with the NFS module, I can now use my box how I want to mounting as nfs.
I've installed the root password and SSH module but can't seem to login, as if the root password is incorrect (trying the irresistible login). Any ideas?
I'm running firmware 2.1.03
Cheers for your hard work.

It seems this "phone home" feature is also used for announcing firmware updates. I just read the message in the Flash banner again, and it says
N2100 Important firmware update: Thecus N2100 firmware version 2.1.03 is recommended for all Thecus N2100 users, please clik on this link and follow the instructions in upgrade procedure to upgrade you system."
But I guess not too many user actually reads it. ;D

Honestly speaking I find the banner not bad fo announcing firmware updates. Not everyone is as keen to go to user groups daily and see what's going on. I understand the resentment to flash but would find a dual solution excellent, where one can choose either the flash or the pure htmp version for the entry. Thus the box would fit most user profiles.
Thecus, are you listening?

Are you getting the login prompt correctly and it's just the password that's a problem???

For everyones amusement, I was forgetting to specify the root as the login user for SSH. doh.
