What can I say ;D
I don't know if this is causing any of my issues or not but if so, what do I do? I've been away from *nix for some time, iirc I should be able to copy a file but I don't recall which. Would a factory 'reset' reset the root password as well? I wouldn't expect it to because it shouldn't be 'user configurable.' Oops. ;(
Anyone?
Thanks

Hi rollo, it's much more easy..... just reboot your device and the root password is restored automatically This is the reason I've created the sys user to even it has the same right as the root user (both of them have the uid 0) the sys user password doesn't get reset after each reboot..... And if you want to change the sys password and if you're not too familiar with unix (or not anymore) it'd be better if you use the SYSUSER module property page for changing the sys password? Andreas
