Hello together! I have a Thecus N5200 with Firmware 2.00.01 and 4 Samsung 500GB HD501LJ as Raid 5 installed. I have planed update the Firmware to 2.00.04. How about the Raid5 if I upgrade the Firmware? How about the installed modules, must I de-install them? How about my config in the N5200 will I lost them? Best regards, Thorsten

You can just update and normally nothing bad happens. Configs and Raids are kept. Modules don'T need to be deinstalled, unless you have imgdup installed. this module is BAD news. deinstall that one before upgrading the firmware.

Hello! Last night I have update the Firmware to 2.00.04. The firmware update was successful without problems. The settings and the raid was kept fine. This changes I have seen:- The Windows Explorer my shows on my N5200 70GB more space. - The E-Mail notification for the UPS works successful. - The nsync tasks doesn't work (they start and then never stop!). This changes I will check later:- HDD spindown with the Samsung HD501LJ. Best regards, Thorsten
