Its in the beta section, but I thought the the numbers indicate that its not a beta. I still which they had a changelog. Any one know what it fixes / adds?

huh? Why do you think the number indicates a non beta? So far only betas were in the beta folder. A final often followed soon in the normal download folder (even though the lest two have gone without any documentation As for what it fixes? Obviously the bad numbering Thecus did on the last couple of betas, internally who knows, so far there hasn't been much documentaion on betas.

True, I was thinking the numbering worked like 2.00.02, stable and 2.00.02.11 beta. Guess they can number it any way they want to.

Please do not use this image (11-Sep-2007 02:55 29.4M) from the beta download area.
The file is broken and cannot be decrypted by the firmware upgrade page - you should see a error message when you try.

Finally the release notes and the firmware upgrade guide are available on the Thecus download page ( www.thecus.com/Downloads). Despite the fact that the author(s) really need some english training, the firmware upgrade guide describes the upgrade from version 1.00.07 to version 1.00.08 - not a big issue but wouldn't be a big deal to make it correct. The release notes describes some of the new features (but most of the text hasn't changed since 1.00.06.5) and some features like ISCSI are not mentioned at all - disappointing somehow. Last but not least an updated version of the manual is still missing. I wonder when Thecus will provide actual documentation.... Andreas

I cannot believe all bugfixes and new features are completly listed from 1.00.08 to 2.00.01. There must be more that's changed in versions from 1.00.10, 1.00.11, 1.00.12 and 2.00.00. And indeed english is bad and because good en precise release notes and documentation are crucial for being seen as a trustful manufacturer with even more trustfull products Thecus should do more it's best for this. In my opinion that is...
