This time, they even released the sources right away. Thecus is becoming fast in its age

Hi,
I have one thecus working with firmware 1.00.7 and the second still running with 1.00.65. omegas modules like meta sysuser and sshd are still working with firmware 1.00.7
With firmware 1.00.7 you can perform a filesystem check via the web interface in the storage-section.

shutdown module seems to be not working. Need to investigate further (whether it is because imgdup is installed (I got it disabled now) and if reboot is working at least).

No problems with the update to 1.00.07, just trying out the new fsck operation to check the status of my drive (which looks like it will take about 30-45 min to complete on my 2.5tb array).

Hi,
with fsck you can solve the "quota cannot be reset to 0"-Problem someone described in the "installations"-section. I had the problem too, it was folder-specific. after doing fsck I was able to reset the quota ;D

What do you mean by doing fsck? Did you use the new Thecus filesystem check facility at the administration page or did you do a fsck manually?
In the second case, I doubt that the fsck is related to the quota management. In the first case, I still haven't had time to check the new fsck script from Thecus, but it is possible that they are not only doing a fsck on the filesystem but even more they are resetting the quota management....
