www.thecus.com/news_contentx.php?nid=347Thecus has new products designed for business use, starting with the five-bay N5200PRO. A follow-up to its best-selling N5200 NAS Server, the N5200PRO ups the ante with a processor and memory bump for even faster response and data processing power. The N5200PRO also supports multiple RAID, which allows users to use multiple RAID levels on a single device. What’s more, dual mode support enables servers to access the N5200PRO as a DAS over the LAN or the Internet. Thecus Technology has embraced iSCSI, and its new NAS products, including the N3200, N5200PRO and 1U4500, will be iSCSI ready. regards, georg

d**n I just bought two thecus N2050's, one week before Thecus come with this. I wanted ESATA for transfer speed, but now with ISCSI it will be equally fast as ESATA. Two modded (cooling 12cm Papst fan's) N2050's for sale

Hi Folks We have just received the consignment of the new Thecus N5200PRO - N5200BR PRO, with the 4 port Roustor. Once we have made it go through it's paces, we shall try and post our findings here. The specification does look good, and iSCSI will be an interesting addition, as is the Multiple RAID functionality. More later. Peter Gray www.eaegis.com
