If you're using the printer server software off the N4100+ cd that could be the problem:-
Quoting my post from another forum:-
To fix this issue install the PrinterServer module from the N4100+ cd (don't enable it yet) and
edit /raid/module/PrinterServer/etc/cups/cupsd.conf
Add the line: RootCertDuration 0
This will prevent cups from creating a new certificate in /raid/module/PrintServer/etc/cups/certs/0 every 5 minutes (which prevents hard disks from spinning down).
Finally enable the module.
