I have a N5810Pro that was put in service in 2020. It's been sitting in the 80°F network closet for nearly all of that time. Today it just stopped working: The power light and the white drive lights ware all flashing rapidly. The power button had no effect. The only way I could power it down was to remove the cord from the mains power and remove the mini UPS battery.
Now when plugging it back in, only the fan turns on. There are no lights and the power button does nothing.
I need to get the data into something that works, but I can't find a N5810Pro (or a N5810) in any online shops that can get here in less than a week. (If anyone has a spare are, I would love to purchase it from you!)
Question: We also have an older N5200 that is still working. If I move the drives from the N5810Pro to the N5200 can I get my data back?
