Can anyone help me with this problem; I have an N5810PRO, i.e. 5 ethernet ports (but the same issue should also be true for a Thecus NAS with 2 ports). I have two separate networks (two separate ISPs, lets call them A and B), but with the same address range, i.e. 192.168.1.x I wish to have users/devices on both networks (A and B) access the Thecus NAS. I can plug in a cable from network-A to the NAS, and a cable from network-B to the NAS, and I can see that these two ports are active on both networks, but cannot access the NAS from e.g. network-B. I set the IP-addresses on the ports to e.g. 192.168.1.100 (network-A) and 192.168.1.101 (network-B) [the reason for the choice of IP addresses are because they were originally both on network-A] The router from Network-B, seems to be confused and it keeps on showing and changing the address of the NAS shown on the router between 192.168.1.100 and 192.168.1.101 (I can still access the NAS on network-A using address 192.168.1.100) On the Thecus I specified the the IP-addresses as fixed (manual, i.e. not DHCP) I also set the 'Default gateway' to be LAN 2 for 192.168.1.101 (network-B) - see attached screenprints However this does not work, i.e. I cannot see access the NAS on network-B. Can anybody provide me with some advice? Many thanks!
