Hello,
is this normal. What can I do to get the CPU usage down. Always 100% isnt that good. I got an 512MB RAM module in the box, so I dont know why the CPU usage is that high.
The Tem-Log-Mod say that there are alwasy just ca. 15MB of free memory space left.
Greets, Benny.

Hi!
I assume you mean SlimServer?
If you have a large collection of music, the SlimServer might run a ~100% cpu for a while. Try to specify another music dir to the SlimServer and see if it still take up as much cpu power. Besides this, I wouldn't say it's normal to run at ~100%, mine consumes about 8-10% when streaming a simple mp3.
Btw, what is the "Tem-Log-Mod"?
Best, Mshapf.

Yes, I ment Slimserver. And I got a big music folder. So this is the problem why it takes this long at 100% CPU. But I got 2 other probs: 1. The slimserver module screws my thecus up. When I installing it on the box, the "raid" menu dont show informations anymore. When I delete the module and do a factory reset, all is normal. 2. Every time I try to connect with the pinnacle soundbridge to the slimserver, it says that it needs an update. So I do the update, by selecting revision 40 (got that from roku forum) and do a factory default on the soundbridge. But it wants this update all the time. Any idea how I can get this thing work? Greets, Benny. BTW, I ment this temperature-logging-module.

Yeah, the raid menu disappears. Dont know why. If you disable the SlimServer module, it pops back up, so it's not something serious. I'll investigate when I get a chance. Probably not before two weeks time though...
About the soundbridge, I remember some other guy reporting the same problem (unless that was you!?), but I don't recall a solution. I suggest you have a look at the following directory, after logging in with SSH to the N2100:
/raid/module/SLIMSRV/system/usr/local/slimserver/Firmware/
I dont know how familiar you are with linux, but try to see what happens if you remove all files in this directory using the rm command. That would be my first try. Another option could be to try and place the correct firmware in this directory...but I really don't know how updates are supposed to work, especially with the soundbridge (which I currently dont know what is...)
About the module: I found out about the new module just after posting my reply... :-)
Hope this helps. Mshapf.
