well people for those wanting it i have good and bad news LOL this is proof of concept but as i m not a total expert but just to show i ve spent a few days looking thou stuff ;D is i love a challenge
i found 2 reports that SSH is pre installed and yes i can confirm that as if u follow this it shows it is. the problem is that you wont be able to login hence proof of concept
By default thecus have made the SSH Demom either not start or it starts then terminates itself on loading the n2100. so to get round this
1.) go to your box's webpage and login as Admin
2.) install the PPP-BLOG module under System>Module Management
3.) Select the PPP-BLOG and Enable the module
4.) go to Storage>Folder and add a folder called module
5.) now logout as admin to go back to webpage System>Logout
6.) now in your webdisk list click on newly created module folder
now you'll see some more folders P2P-BLOG, PPP-BLOG, cfg
7.) click on PPP-BLOG folder and you'll get 2 more folders Shell, WWW
8.) click on WWW folder
9.) now open notepad and insert this code
now save that as say test.php
10.) on Webdisk page select test.php to be uploaded and press upload
11.) Once upload now point ur webbrowser to 192.168.1.100/module/PPP-BLOG/test.php
12.) now load say PuTTY.exe and try access assh to 192.168.1.100 and it should now say login as and not refuse connection
Have FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!
PS if you want root password i dont know what it is either yet however i have the passwd file but dont know how to decrpyt the passphrase so no go, but this could be used to somehow make a module with a custom SSH which i may keep trying to do.
To Thecus dont flame me or be pissed off at me lol as i m just trying to help those who wanted it and shows ur GREAT product can handle it, also saves u some time in having to add it in later (HOPE YOU DONT CHANGE NEXT FIRMWARE TO STOP THIS)
