HEllo,
I have tinkered with this device so much, I am sure I caused this problem.
I recently flashed the Firmware from 3.x back to 2.1.?, had to make the USB stick to do this, worked fine.
For some reason, I can't browse to the device. WIndows show it in the Networking section, but when I try to access it, it says not found.
I can ping and FTP and web-access the device fine, just no SMB. Should I post my SMB.CONF file? I also looked at the /var/log/samba directory at some of the log files, think it was smbd.log that had some error messages?
If I press the reset button, will this fix it? I have the data backed up, but I would prefer to not have to remake the array?
Thanks, David

Progress:
I went in and edited:
/app/etc/sysconfig/network-devices/ifconfig.eth0
In this file, the IP and broadcast were wrong. Once I fixed them, I could not access the device via SMB using the UNC IP address, but not by name. So I was able to login via \\192.168.0.220 and see all my shares and get into them.
Now, for the 2nd part: How can I get the device to show up in Windows Network and access it from there?
Thanks, not sure for what, but if anyone ever responds with help I say thanks in advance.
David
