Hi Guys, My N4200 has clicky hard drives... I have checked each drive separately by attaching to a windows 7 machine and running the Seagate tools and they all pass... they also do not make the sound when attached to the W7 machine. I reinstalled all 4 drives into the 4200 and the disabled the power management through the web console, but still get the clicking... it happens about every 45 to 90 seconds.... sometimes further apart... Seagate support say it is not the drive, Thecus support have not offered any options for me... so i am thinking of retuning the 4300 as faulty. Is there any way to install some HDD monitoring tools please? Failing that, anyone installed windows server on a 4200 yet? Thanks, Stuart

the N4200 as a business solution for small- to medium-sized companies, and it costs around $660. Customers can equip the NAS with up to four hard drives, and then apply RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, or 10. You can also integrate the N4200 using iSCSI. Again, it comes with a dual-core Intel Atom D510 processor and 1 GB of DDR2 SDRAM.
Encryption Setup
The encryption setup is easily accessible via Thecus' Web interface, similar to the other two devices we're testing. When creating a RAID array, you can enable the encryption option. After the array built, its storage space is completely encrypted via a partition-level approach. The encryption password can be any string consisting of anywhere from one to sixteen characters.
Here's another interesting detail: you need an external drive connected to one of the N4200's USB ports when you create an encrypted partition on Thecus' NAS. This is just one more hassle, of course, but it's all in the name of security. For practical reasons, you'll probably want to use a thumb drive, on which key to decrypt data stored on the partition is stored.

The LaserJet 4000 series is Hewlett-Packard's medium-duty monochrome laser printer range and the successor to the LaserJet 5 series.
The LaserJet 4000 series, like most of Hewlett-Packard's laser printer series, follow the standard nomenclature for denoting factory-included features.
* n = network ready * t = additional tray to hold an extra 500 sheets * d = double sided printing * s = stacker for output tray * l = stapler.
