Hi,
just got used n2100 and I have a problem. 2 Seagate 400GB discs in it.
I powered it up, 2 blue disk leds light up, fan spins up...5 sec latter hdd leds and fan turn off and nothing.. only blue power led. (holding it for 5 sec doest nuts it down) I opened it up, removed the drive bay, reset and powered up. Orange busy light and it works, i can get web interface at 192.168.1.100
Ok, put the drives back in...nothing. Removed the drives again and now no orange boot/busy light. I tried 10 times, only blue power led, fan starts for 5 sec. then turns off. I tried holding reset button for 10 to 30 sec...still the same.
I see LAN led here and there, when I ping the device I see LAN flashes, but looks like unit wont boot now. Can there be problem with power supply? (unit is from USA, but adapter works 110-240V)
Any way to make some kind of hard reset?
Thx

Hi,
if the HDDs are removed and the device still does not boot you can
- change the power supply - test with serial connector (http://david.thg.se/n2100/addserial.html)

Try power up with just one disk installed. Possible that power load from both disks is more than N2100 can handle.
