Hi all
I hope this is the correct forum...
I bought a secondhand 5200 with 5 x 750Gb HDDs about a year ago... it has been faultless apart from a power cut which led to a long RAID rebuild.
Anyway - since I have owned it (as far as I can remember) when I check the status it permanently says 100% load. The disk status is OK and the RAID os OK, so I cannot explain the load. I have disconnected it from the network and had it connected to a single PC which doesnt even have the shares mapped and even then it shows 100%... I am at a loss and dont know whether to be worried as everything seems to work OK. I have disabled all the modules in case this was the reason and still says 100%!
Does anyone have any ideas?
I was unsure whether there is a way to check the load from the LCD panel as this way I could completely remove it from the LAN?
