For monitoring of Security, but also for troubleshooting, it would be good if more log information can get enabled.
Example: FTP port is 21. Enabled FTP (20,21) on the router and tried to connect. For some reason router port forwarding took the FTP coming in at 21 and passsed it on to 20. Of course, this did not work and I would have found out faster if the log told me about the unauthorised connection request to port 20.

Of course, this did not work and I would have found out faster if the log told me about the unauthorised connection request to port 20. ALSO we need to be able to filter information. For instance, I need to know when the fan fails but I do NOT want to know all the steps each time the machine reboots or shuts down on schedule!
