I was having issues with SQUEEZECENTER, found errors that indicated that the temp folder was full.
Sure enough, df produced this:
I don't know enough about this OS to figure out what's using it, but I suspected twonky and restarted it - after I did that, I called df again:
Any ideas why twonky would do this? Does this indicate a problem with twonky or my config?
FYI - my library isn't huge, ~45000 items.
I'll report this on the twonky forums as well...

Thats the log file - so, if You enable logging in the Twonkymedia configuration then the log file is written to /tmp.
But thats a usual issue if You enable logging in a application - You have to take care that the log file becomes not to big, otherwise it will fill up Your filesystem. Thast the reason why logging on the NAS is not done the usual way - it will fill up the system if You don't take care of it.
So if You enable logging, cause You need it, then clear the log from time to time or disable it if You don't need it.

Makes sense - I did enable logging to debug other issues.
However I don't know how to clear the log. In this case I fixed it simply by stopping the server and restarting it. Logging was disabled automatically after that (well that setting seems to have trouble sticking regardless).
Thanks for the tip! This may be a good "What to know about Twonky usage on your Thecus" item for the module wiki.

Have tried it, but the only way I was able to figure out was to create a link. br Peter

Have now found the solution. The logfile can be added as startup parameter to the server start. I will update the latest version of the module with that today evening. Simple add following to the startup of the server in the module.rc of the module.
at least this will be added in the new module version.
Unfortunatly theres no documentation od information about parameters which can be given to the server on startup - so thats more try and error.
