The GUI is ok but some of the names given to field is ? Also the manual is vague at best. They need to have detailed procedures for dummies (me). Not everyone is a networking technician or uber nerd. End rant.

I agree whole-heartedly. The GUI lists options not defined in the manual (Raid Master?) and really assumes you are a RAID/NAS genius.
Also, how about some expectation of how long things take? Scanning for bad sectors and building RAID took me TWO freaking days when setting up four 2 GB drives in RAID 10 configurfation! How hard is it for the CPU to handle something so simple? What powers this thing - a hamster?
Last rant - why no HDD compatibilty for Seagate 2 GB drives yet? I bought four and took a chance - but it's not like these are early adopter drives or anything.
All that being said, I hope the system works. I've invested quite a bit of $ in it and only time will tell.
