Any ideas? I know I am using the correct smtp server, login and password. The port is questionable. I believe it was default 587 but in my email program it is set to 110. I have tried both. I have also messed around with the authentication drop down with no luck.
Do I need to open a port on my router or something??
Thanks

usually you dont have to forward port i mean if you configure your email client on your computer you dont have to do it either. I'm having the same problem tried alot of things but with no luck.

I had the same issue with my 5200, it all came down to DNS settings.
Try replacing the SMTP server name with it's IP instead, that way you can rule out DNS as an issue.
BTW, SMTP is port 25, authenticated SMTP is either on 25 or 587.
Port 110 is POP3, for collecting emails, not sending them.
