Just wondering if there is any file management module out there (or being worked on) for the N3200.
I find that I am constantly wanting to move files around and change the directory structure on my NAS.
Currently the only way I can find to do this is via my windows machine, using file manager as a go-between.
Needless to say, this is really time consuming since the data has to flow from the N3200, through my network, through my windows machine, and back to the new location on the N3200.
I've tried using USB copy module and it is good as far as it goes, but it doesn't go down to the file level ... just the shared folder level.
Any suggestions?

I suggest to use the Total Commander for it. You can use it simply as file manager and ftp manager apps. You need choose the network mode first and then you need choose the N3200 item as network resource, and then you will look and edit all directory on the NAS

Thanks! I tried downloading this app, but I haven't yet figured out how to connect the N3200 as a resource.
I can of course map drives to it and copy files just like NT explorer, but I want to work directly on the N3200 and copy files without the data making a round trip to my computer and back.
Can you give me a few more hints on how to use Total Commander to accomplish this?
thx

I use WinSCP. Turn on FTP on the NAS Connect winSCP using FTP Forget the local machine in the left hand pane The right hand pane will list all your folders on the nas Go into USBCopy folder and navigate to the folder or files that you want to move. Select folder(s) and file(s) Right click and select move to Enter Target i.e. Music will be /Music/*.* and Voila Moved in a matter of seconds.
Took me a while to figure it out but saves hours of network traffic.
Hope this helps. shout if you need any further help. Its about time people started helping others on this forum. I never nearly bought this NAS just because other suppliers had decent forums and a good community.
