is there anyone here who has successfully compiled sourcecode for thecus 4100+?
I've tried to cross compile several sources without success.
I've tried severial toolchains for arm5, made my own toolchain with the sources provided by thecus with no success.
I would like to compile for example iptables for thecus cause with the binary compiled by thecus you cannot use tables for blocking (would be nice for rtorrent). as well I'd like to compile a module for 4100+ to use a ups (ACP) with the nas.
Would be nice if someone could help me, I do think that there are other owners of a thecus nas interested in compiling their own modules.
N4100+ Raid 5 with 4 x 1TB SAMSUNG HD103UJ - Dell Inspiron 6000 - Asus P4 3.0Mhz HT - Compaq P4 1.5Mhz wireless media PC - Soltec AMD 1.8XP (1.5Mhz) wireless media PC - eMac G4 1.2Mhz - G4 Dual 450Mhz Power PC
due to the massive responses I was not able to have time to do it (</sarcasm>
I haven't put in that much time and effort in it yet, cause with my toolchains I was not successful. I was hoping that someone can help me but it seems that no one cares. Are you also working on something similliar?
As part of a project I'm working on, I'm going to investigate the compilation for the n4100+. I'm running a setup which involves running a http-streamer on the nas, and as I have just finished doing cross-compiling for the Popcorn Hour a-100, I might as well continue down this path I'll return with what I can find.
