So, I was upgrading my 4100 firmware... got to about 90% when all of the sudden i get a brown out and knocks my 4100 off line...
So the 4100 is now unresponsive and i dont think i can get it working again without just getting a replacement box...
I am worried that when i get a replacement my box is going to not recognize the current RAID build that is installed.... so I plan on just pulling out all of the drives and trying to recover the data manually...
Does anyone know what the file system used on the 4100s is? I have found several programs that will let you pull up linux based Filesystems but they all get errors when i try to access the the drives..
Any help is much appreciated,
Brett

Cool, It looks like if you kill your firmware you just have to send them your box and they reflash it.
all data should be recovered without a hitch.
On a side note if you own a 5200 you can place a firmware file on a usb stick and boot up the thecus and it will preform a firmware flash
Have a good one,
Brett
