What RAID level do you use on your N2100 YES Box?

Im running JBOD right now (could only afford 1 disk.). Have about 600GB+ copied over to it already. When I buy my second disk will the Thecus allow me to RAID1 that? Or do I need to pull it off, and re-transfer everything?

I have used raid 1 and 0, and now I currently use JBOD. JBOD seems to be the best choise for me.
Disk No. Capacity (MB) Model Firmware Status 1 305,245 ST3320620AS 3.AA OK 2 286,168 ST3300622AS 3.AA OK

Or do I need to pull it off, and re-transfer everything? no, you have to rebuild the RAID. If the Thecus can install with a degraded RAID (only one hdd present), this might be an option.... But I doubt that capability, as this is already tricky on a regular linux machine.

After much testing I have come to the realization that RAID0 is useless. Best case I can transfer only 11MB/s across the network. What performance benefit do I gain by striping a pair of disks when I have such a bottle neck to work with? Best case I might gain a few ms seek time improvement but what does that matter when it still takes me 10minutes to copy an 8gig file?
JBOD. That way if I do loose a disk I have half my data intact. With RAID0 I loose it all.

Raid 1 for two years - have not had to rebuild since initial installation. Could not ask for more than that.

Just installed my brand new 'YES BOX' (N2100) with 512MB RAM (Kingston HyperX DDR400/PC3200, CL2) booting w/o problems.
HDs: 2x SEAGATE ST3500630AS V3.AA, SATA2, 476,940 MB RAID1 RAID building started 13:42, until now (15:12) 54% done...
