Dear all, I’m new with my Thecus N2100 (firmware 2.1.03.1) and I have troubles with folder permission. I have red the user manual and do some tests, but I can’t find how to share my iTune folder in the right way. I just want to allow people (everybody) to browse, read and download my MP3 files from the Webdisk or iTune menu on the N2100 web interface but not delete files or subfolders. I just want to reproduce the exact same behaviour of the Web-Gallery with my album folder, but with the Web-Music and iTune folder - If I set public access on iTune folder to "Yes", everybody can browse, read but also delete my music
- If I set public access on iTune folder to "No", browse is not possible (no access to the folder).
I have tried to play with ACL permissions on iTune Folder, but I don’t know the name of the user which is used by the web interface to access to the iTune folder. Could you help me to share my music ? Thank you very much. Denony PS - General question : Could you explain me how to allow "public access" to Webdisk to browse, read, but NOT delete files that are on my N2100 shared folder (example iTune folder) ? Thanks.

There is no such feature present from the web interface, only ftp does provide anonymous access. But, you could create a look alike with some simple steps - create a user named anonymous with password anonymous
- via ACL give user anonymous read only access for iTunes share
