When I first installed my Thecus the iTunes server worked OK. Now it doesn't - none of my iTunes installations will detect it. I can however browse the itunes folder through the web interface, and it setup appropriately in the web interface.
I have tried disabling and enabling it. Thecus suggest pulling everything off my drive and rebuilding it from scratch - not something I want to do.
Has anyone had this problem? How can I troubleshoot it? I'm comfortable using SSH, but I haven't got it working on my box. I'm running 2.1.03.
When I try and install modules they don't come up on the list of installed modules (but otherwise it seems to work OK). When I try and connect using SSH (after pushing the reset button for a long time) I get Connection Refused (using PuTTY/WinXP).
Any ideas/pointers?
Thanks,
Sam

OK, I've got SSH working. I didn't realise I had to extract the Tar file, thinking Thecus would do it for me.
So the question remains: - Has someone had/fixed this issue? - If not, can someone tell me the iTunes process name and location of its logs?

OK, was able to fix it.
I logged in via SSH and tried to start the iTunes server (for the record it's mt-daapd, in /opt/bin). It failed to start and told me the /raid/iTunes folder doesn't exist. So I manually created this folder and now it works.
I fixed my "album" folder the same way, since it was also broken!
Thanks folk.

WTF No itunes folder and no album folder That's something that the firmware should detect and restore automatically As for not knowing that you have to unpack SSH dont worry. Most everyone has had that problem
