Hi all, even after having read through this great resource of tips and tricks I was not able to figure out what is going wrong on my n2100:
I attached a 300GB USB-hard drive (in the meanwhile I tried all of the three ports) --- but I cannot access any data on it. Being more careful when plugging in the device, I could see the red light blinking near the usb-port on the n2100; thus it looks like it could not be mounted at all. But I see the disk displayed correctly in the thecus-storage-disk menu! Attaching the usb-device to my pc works fine though.
The fs on the usb-device is fat32, the fw on my n2100 is 2.1.03.01 (before you ask: it was already installed when I unpacked it).
Any idea what goes wrong here and how it could be fixed? Is there any log file that I could check on the n2100 (I've already installed the great SSH-module and could find the log file if I knew where to look).
Thank you very much in advance!

Hi Olf
I had a similar problem which I managed to fix by re-formatting my Lacie 250GB USB drive as FAT32 with a primary partition not an extended partition.
Hope this helps

Hi weggo, thanks a lot for this idea --- I'll try it out (probably next weekend) and I will write down my experiences!
Thanks again, olf
